What we do

Gradency turns a stack of scanned exams into per-student feedback in minutes. Upload an answer key and a stack of student exams; the system splits, grades, and produces per-question feedback that you can review, adjust, and email to your students.

Why we built this

Hand-grading 200 exams isn't a weekend — it's several full days, distributed across late nights and early mornings, with consistency that drifts as fatigue sets in. Gradency handles the first pass at machine speed and gives you a structured review surface so every grade still passes through your judgment before it reaches a student.

How it works

• Upload a multi-page scanned PDF or per-student PDFs.
• Split automatically via QR codes, fixed page count, or pre-split files.
• Define a rubric — manually or auto-generated from your answer key.
• Grade automatically with per-question scores and textual feedback.
• Review in a three-pane interface: answer key, student PDF, feedback cards. Override anything.
• Email students individually or in bulk with their grades + feedback.

Privacy & control
